almost all 5 speed 5.0s are 2.73
6.8 gallons got me over 100 miles
thats about half a tank
if ur gunna bitch about gas mileage though u shouldnt own a mustang, period.

95's never came with 273s, or did you put your gears back in it for some reason?

yes they were gapped properly. and i used to get around 225 miles per tank until i installed my 95 rear end in my 89 for the 5 lug convserion.. it has stock 2:73 gears in it..and one bearing is bad in the rear.. would htat bad bearing cause my gas milage to go downhill that bad?

But if your bitching about your car with 450hp at the wheel... then you shouldn't own what you put in it.

i hate to be a nag or anything, but this will cause excessive wear on your fuel pump... the fuel pump uses gas to cool it, and the less gas there is, the hotter the fuel pump runs, shortening the fuel pump life.
