The 350's arent all that they had what like 215hp?

Nothing great if you ask me.

You should whip his *** no problem.

My buddy has an 88 with a 350 we did a swap in originally a 2.8 and now has a carbed new carbed 350 with all the basic boltons and i stomped a mud hole in his ***.Hes got me in the top end but short distance like 1/4 mile its all me.

Thats only because i have a 3 speed.

If you cant beat him park the car or better yet sell it to me and i promise next time you see it will be a GmKiller!

my friend just bought an 85 IROC. it isnt that fast. the 305s dont even make 200 hp. if he wanted to take you to a road course, he would probably woop your *** cause they are set up for that. the sway bars on that car are fuggin huge and there is absolutely no body roll in the turns.

In 86 the 5.0 was the quicker of thetwo. When I was looking to buy, I test drove both and finally decided to buy the GT. I'm glad I went with the mustang, that summer in 86 I SPANKED tons of Iroc-z.
