Default is it really worth the money

I think my next investment is goin to be an electric fan, haven't figured out which one though. I was wondering what kind of a difference they really make. Can you feel an increase in power?Don't they also increase MPG?
Thanks guys

For the money spent; it's not really worth it unless you need it. Yes, it'll increase your peak horsepower numbers & you might see half a tenth to a tenth reduction in the quarter mile. The problem is you need to upgrade to a 3G alternator first & then consider the electric fan & controller install. I didn't notice any improvement in gas mileage; just a reduction in "fan noise" & a better looking engine compartment.......

go to a junk yard and pull one off a late 80's early 90's 3.8L torus or sable about 20 bucks and they pull more air than all the $300 set ups to me that is def worth it
