How much HP and Torque will I have?

RE: How much HP and Torque will I have?
I will hopefully dig up the numbers and post them in here by Saturday afternoon. My buddy ordered it and I will talk to him by then. If you go to www.andersonfordmotorsport.com and look at their online catalog, they have a lot of cams for specific applications.

RE: How much HP and Torque will I have?
I've been building engines/cars for 35+ years.
Have a question.
How do you port/polish and engine to 5.6 liters?
How did you end up with 8.3 compression?
Is the engine real or another dreamt up project?
Have a question.

a 347 is 5.69L... so it would be 5.7 rounded up

Also like how he's running 94 on 8.3:1. There's probably a 5hp drop right there due to the wrong fuel. EGR being taken off, mid range drop.
Everything's done wrong.

Mmmmm 5.69 liters tastes even better! Thank you for fixing my calculation. Not to mention a 351w being 5.8 and so on....
I think 94 octane is enough for 8.3:1 compression for going back and forth to work. Correct me if I'm wrong but stock compression is higher than what I'll be running and 91 octane back in the 80's was probably the best they had at the pump. Think about that. Once you go up into the 11 and 12 ratio's you'd want race gas, or at least mix a couple gallons of it with 91+ to prevent detonation.
1. The compression is what my engine builder "has in mind" I just took his word for it and posted it in here.
2. Port and polish may be a bad choice of words. How about bored out or honed?
3. Yes, it's a real project and not dreamt, because it's almost done! Although I do have dreams about it getting done.
If you see any project failures or wrong info, please humor me since you have been building engines for 35+ years. I have only been working on cars for 5.
