ok then...do what i said about cable/fork tightness....clutch releasing towards floorboard or later?....<like way later?..

sounds like an easy fix...>cable

I will read up on what your talking about; right now, I haven't a clue what the fork is.

But I'll find out. The clutch seems to engage at about halfway through the range of the pedal. Out of curiousity, what makes you think it's not syncros anymore? Thanks again for the info, Grabbem.[sm=smiley20.gif]

synchro's ussually,and i'm being light on this,but it would give you noise,grind scratch..that sort of thing...

no problem on helping out..iv'e been there so i have a little knowledge of what goes on

Now does it always mean you need a tranny rebuild when your synchro's are bad?

+1when youre slowing down you should pull it toward 2nd and then go up. id say you check the cable play too if anything. but its prolly OK. youre just wiggin man!

well i'll say what iv'e learned...i can not ever put my car into first gear while coasting more than 10mph..

check your clutch fork..see how much play (shouldn't be much) on cable from fork...

your tranny is worn out...
