i do it because its one of the only things that makes me happy in the life i live. i am on edge of meltdown everyday between my parents devorce, school, and now work becaues two of the managers have it in for me and told my boss they saw me making a drug deal in the parking lot which was fuking bullsh!t. so much stuff going on in my life and when i work on my car it goes away. just driving my car around relaxes me from a bad day at work or school just the sound of the engine and knowing I DID THAT not someone else i did it all myself and it makes me proud it makes my dad proud that i have found something i like to do and i absolutly love the feeling of getting sucked in the seat its not all about beeting the ricers or the other domestics. its mostly about making me feel good

Once I was at a stoplight and an older guy pulls up next to me in a new mustang. Heavily modded. You name it. I see him and think "someday...". He had the windows up with sunglasses on and I see his lips say "Nice car". lol Man I smiled all the way home. Get home and tell the other half about it and she says "So?". lol Baby you just dont understand.

Although I haven't yet had the money to turn my car into Mr. Hyde, I enjoy the notion of being able to stomp on people at red lights. It's not the actually stomping that's important--just the knowledge that I can. Even when I'm tooling around the parking lot, real slow-like, I still feel a certain sense of power. I guess it's the sound of the pipes, and the knowledge that if I just graze the gas pedal, the car will go silly with all due smoke and drama.

The adrenaline rush, what else. Is there nothing better than throwing it into gear, mashing down on the gas and hearing those sweet pipes let the world know your bearing down on them as you get thrown back in your seat? Nothing is better than having all that power under your thumb. Waxing the ricers is an excuse to enjoy the rush.
