an 8.8 rearend is almost as stong as a 9 inch
your not going to hurt it with a stock motor
even spraying it 200, it will hold up, as long as your shifting habbits are ok you wont tear the t5 up for a while
dont waste your money on big axles unless you have a race motor
i recomend 373 gears with some small et streets no slicks unless your gonna spray it
so it wont bog as bad, it might even bog on et streets
maybe it will haze the tires half a car legnth and keep the rpms up but i doubt it

One last question guys I went to go order the MT ET Street radials I noticed they also make MT drag radials, is there a huge difference between traction from a MT street radial to drag radial, Jegs.com says the Street is R2 compund and the drag radials are R1, which will give me the most traction for my money?

Also what are the specs on these rims on my stang? Are they oem rims? Will the 235 fit w/o a problem?

The drag ets are definitly going to give you better traction. If your not putting serious power down then the et streets will be fine. My car is almost stock and with et streets at 30 psi I can't spin the tires unless I'm powerbraking my car.

Also those are stock rims, 235's will go on no problem.

Even if you are putting down big numbers the ET Street Radial is a great tire (as long as you have a decent suspension as well). I have seen these tires go well into the 9's and better (and yes thats in the 1/4)
