Midwest mustang in kansas said they will sell a complete setup all used parts to convert to T-5 for $1200 is this to much money for used parts or what?

honestly try and find a wrecked car ad sell the parts u dont need u will probably break even thats what i did!

Complete? Center counsel, clutch pedel assembly and cable, tranny, clutch....no I don't think that is too bad. Try and price it separetly..a new T5 is 1200 bucks without the bell housing and shifter...

Are you going to have a shop find all the parts and slap her all together for you? If so...I think $1200 for parts+labor is not a bad price at all. Let me know how it goes...I've been really thinkin about swapping out my aod.

I was going to do the labor Myself the kit that midwest mustang has they say it is complete and in good working order. I think they said it has everyting needed for the conversion they are Mustang recyclers located near Lawrence, KS there # is (785) 749-3131 if anybody wants it I have never delt with them just heard that they had the T-5 conversion parts.

I would really like to get he TKO 600 just don't have those kinda funds for the project.

That's exaclty what I'm doing now. Found a wrecked 89 LX. I'm hoping to Ebay some of the extra parts off when I'm done scavenging from the car.
