the switch in the door is what id check, mine used to hang up.

there is only an on and off position. i have it in the off position b/c if i leave it on i will never turn off

I'm guessing the switch in the door jam is bad...if the light turns on by the dash switch, you have power.

its inside the door jam, front of the door. its white. when you open thedoor it pops out and that makes the light work. it can get stuck though.

Most likely some contacs need to be cleaned. My passenger side lock switch didng work and I took out the assembly and scratched the copper contacts a little bit and it worked like a charm.

i found the switch. both pop out but lights still dont turn on.

and you checked all the fuses. even the underhood ones?

the thing that sticks out of the door pops out when you open the door on both sides of the car. it feels like it has a spring that pushes it out when u open the door. thats the only thing i found. is that the right one?
