How many miles are on her? Well a lot of people like to start with exhaust, free up some back pressure and a little hp... You could do some equal length headers, take off the cats.... If it's an AOD install a shift kit.. and Change out your rear end gears....

I got a 95 GT last month. I started with the mufflers. In hindsight, that was a waste of time. I couldn't even hear it. I just picked up gears this weekend (3.73's), i'd say start with that. That's been the first thing most people have recommended to me. If you're going to get an exhaust, save a few extra bucks and get a good cat-back setup, not just mufflers. In the long run, that'll save you from having to put money into the same area twice. An H or X pipe would also be a great idea though. For the money, my cat-free pipe sounds great (got it for $50 from a friend). Have fun, enjoy your new toy!

in order of installment.....
1-tint the windows, 2-exhaust(x-pipe/h-pipe catless), 3-intake, 4-throttle body, 5-gears, 6-mass-air flow, 7-fuel pressure regulator, 8-fuel pump, 9-headers, 10-intake manifold, 11-cam, 12-heads, 13-roller rocker arms/roller lifters, 14-24 .lbs fuel injectors, be running high high 12's after this........oh yeah GET A SKINNY BITCH AND TAKE A **** BEFORE YOU RACE.....

13 you'll be aleast 1-1.5 sec quicker
