ok i give up. i went and bought a dremel tool and still can't get them out. the screws are really soft and i cut a slit for a flathead, but they just keep stripping themselves. i even tried to cut the head off the screw, but all i did was dull the **** out of one cutting wheel, and shatter the other one. do they sell throttle position sensors at auto part stores?

I'm not sure how you could had dulled the wheel. The cutting wheels I'm talking about for metal are made of a ceramic like material and the will wear down and break, but you can't dull them. They come in a tube (around 20 or 25 per tube) and you put them onto a stem using a very small screw that goes into the dremel. I've cut hardened ¼ inch bolts with a wheel before. Takes a little while but they will do it. If you tried using a metal wheel with teeth, that will only cut wood and plastic. When you cut the slot, make sure you hold the wheel straight and square to the surface so that you have a nice straight wall for the flat screwdriver blade to work against.

Took the word right out of mouth TIMES! 
This works great for me too. Just be careful cause you dont want to go too deep. But a flat head gives you much more leverage. I love my dremel. I got the cordless one, I use the fock out of it.

Take the grinder with your Dremel and take the head off the screw then unscrew the other screw and pop the tps off with a screw driver and then use a vice grip to take the remaining stud out. Come on now......
