Ok so on my 87GT the whole interior is all red, except for the black that was dyed by the last owner and its all coming off. Im DYING to get rid of this nasty red, and I started looking around and planning on getting everything black, including the dash and console. I found black carpet and seats and door planels($600) from 50resto.com but no black console and dash stuff. I looked at other sites and found none, just stock colors. So I gave up and now ill have to goto stock, I found this car that was in an accident and they are parting it out. I asked them how much they wanted for the whole interior. The price was $800 for everything except for the radio and speedo cluster.

Is $800 a deal or a ripp?

you need everythign the panels by the dash, yea mines painted black and its starting to come off and show the red lol, i think im just gonna use a paint that wont come off, but no clue which that is yet. also get rid of that cowl hood, even how small the pic is i can tell its just for looks. but it looks nice even better if it was functional. btw mines ther just for looks too but im going to get a functional one once i get my motor rebuilt and my tranny and rear end and the gears and stuff, then im going to get the suspension, then paint but right before paint im getting a new spoiler and a new hood a functional 3" cowl or w/e i havnt decided exactly which hood. i like the cobra r with svo scoops. but i dont know any place that sells them.

not for looks... my GT is carb'd and a reg hood wont close with the air cleaner on.
