Default header size diff....

ya me again with this headers dealie.....

whats the difference between the headers?

Shorties?
Equal Lenght?
Long Tube?

(all 1-5/8 from bbk performance)

compared to the stock headers? just by looking at them i have a heard time...

and which ones do i get for my 94 gt with performance exaust and o/r h-pipe?

if u have the o/r pipe already get shorties so they fit where stock was. also bbk's crome header will rainbow damn fast so if you want em to stay pretty get ceramic. also ceramic keep your engin bay cooler

Shorties and equals are pretty much the same size besides on the equals, each tube is the same length. They do that so each individual cylinder exhaust pulse wont run into each other and cause resistance. Shorties look basically the same a stock. Both will work with stock exhaust. Long tube require a short h or x pipe b/c they run all the way down to the tranny. I have the shorty equals on mine..they look bad ***.

i belive some shortie equals wont work with certian heads as well???? but otherwise yeah if u have the regular sixe xpipe already i would get shortie ceramic headers

any diff in performance from the shorty or the equals? like i said i have an off road h-pipe installed onto my factory headers.... and you said u have shorty equals? arnt they diff headers?

not really any difference I don't think...the shorties will be easier to put in. If you have stock heads, I believe you wont have a problem with fitment.

A shory and a shorty equal/equal fit on stock exhaust. The are the lame length from flange to flange as stock.

aight thanks, case i went to by headers at a performance shop here and when i brought them back to my garage the looked very similar to the headers i have on now.... except without the little twist at the top of the head (cause i bought the car used of another guy and i dont know if he had heads put on) but they look like the stock ones on ebay. is there a way to tell?
