92Highway

I have a 92 notchback 4 cylinder and a wrecked 95 gt with a good 5.0 motor(70,000 miles). But I thought I can just swap everything and get running with no problems. But now I was told that I cant use the 95 gt wire harness and computer to transfer in my 92 coupe because there totally different. Can anybody help me with this problem, It would really help to get some thoughts on my situation from someone else.

I know the 92 5.0 and the 95 5.0 computers have a bit of difference between them and you prob couldn't use the 95 one in a 92 5.0 but if everything is swaping over I see no reason why it woud not work. whom ever told you did could have thought you ment the 95 computer was going into a 92 fox with a 5.0

You cannot use the trans off of the 95 either if its an auto.

I'd go w/ a fox computer..A9L OR A9P. Also, blue is right...the output shaft is longer on the SN's T5. You should be able to find a fox T5 pretty cheap though....You don't wanna use the one out of the 4 banger...it's weaker than a T5.
