Default Overfilled Oil

I drove my car for about 4 hours with the oil level on the first L on the FULL mark on the dip stick. Does driving with to much oil ether do damage or not? Or did I start damaging my O rings?

Normally I do it my self. This was a special occasion and the mechanic put in 4.5 liters. 4.7 is max, though my oil filter is about two inches shorter because my swaybar is in the way for the normal FL-1A. I told him that 4.7 is max and said just put it 4.5 maby he put a bit more. I'm probably worry to much. haah How much does it take to **** it up?

4.5 is perfect. It's not overfilled.

with a small filter it was past the F in full and that is too much as far as the owners manual is concerned.

mine was overfilled.

i forgot to drain the second plug (up front) and forgot that its a 302 (4.94L)

ended up putting 5 quarts in

got online and found out theres actually 2 plugs DOH. too late now though.. new oil is already mixed in with some crap oil.

it was reading over the full mark for a couple days

i have a dirt driveway, 1 way lane road right in the city so its not like i can just work on my car whenever i want.

im just going to drain both plugs when i hit 1000 more miles. ive had no problems and all my sensors work (i know they do because i turned the key on, engine off and i had LOW OIL, NO OIL sensors flashing lol)

as for the sway bar, i was able to get around it but it is definitely the tightest oil filter spot ive ever had to work with.

i had to buy one of those claw things to put the filter on because my hand wont fit down there. it was like $4, well worth it.
