Default tips on exhaust tip removal
i was trying to remove my exhaust tips last night and they were stuck to the mufflers. any tips on how to loosen them up. do i need to heat them up or bang the crap out of them. i only have a floor jack so i dont have alot of room to work with.

get a hand held propane torch and some thick gloves.

are they welded on? most custom systems are welded and u will need a torch to get them off

they are only clamped on but have been for a couple years. i dont see any rust but they are very stuck. i will try the torch. thanks
