Default Tick,Tick,Smoke !!!!!!

Ihave a 90 mustang 5.0 Lx. I recentley noticed my car started smoking. It smokes while shifting at normal speeds (white smoke). also the performance has decreased dramatically !!!!! . When I acclerate I hear this ticking sound get louder as i mash the throttle ? Can somebody please help me ????????[:@]

mm whens last time uve changed ur oil? could be dirt under lifters.. or could be ur cam is wiped out.. dose it tap at idle? or when ur on the gas or of?..

Changed the oil 2 weeks ago, and the motor has a fresh rebuild with only 67,000 miles on it !!!! It only clicks when i acclerate ? It almost sound like the cap and rotor ,But not sure

Changed the cam ,and also ported the heads . but while their had everything redone for future mods

well... white smoke almost always means head gaskets. check there... imagine if your oil had coolant in it what it would do the the bearings/lifters/rockers/etc.... tick tick tick rebuild...not good.

So if my head gaskets are leaking it would smoke through thru the exhaust ? but what would cause the lag in power ? [&:]

um burning anti-freeze is not a horsepower adder lol Check if the radiator is low, and then pull the dipstick and see if it looks like a milkshake

It has a brand new fluidyne radiator adn all fluids are fine . oil was just changed and looks healthy , not thick ?
