Default Newbie Needing Help!!!!!!!

I just purchased an 86 hatchback with a stock 302 that pulled 211rwhp on the dyno. I have the following proposition on the table and I am trying to get as much advice as I can on if this is a good deal or not. What would be the pros & cons of going through with this deal? How much more power would I be able to end up with using the 306DSS without power adders? I will probably end getting someone other than the guy who gave me this quote to do the installation if the labor is not negotionable. Here is what is being offered:

306DSS (Brand New) 1200.00
E303 CAM 190.00
Timing Chain 100.00
Motorsports Gaskets 107.00
Lifters 130.00
Pickup 28.00
AFR 185cc Heads 1000.00
Rocker Arms 265.00
Pushrods 55.00
Ford Waterpump 89.99
Pilot Bearing 23.50

Parts=$3201.39
Labor =$1540.00
Total=$5000.00

I thought that was a little high. Would it be a good deal to buy the block and the heads though?

the heads and the shortblock sounds like a deal if the shortblock is balanced. with that combo you could have a stoich sbf.

I am looking to get at least 325rwhp from the block, heads, cam and new intake. Do you think that this would be possible?
