ram air

is getting a ram air kit more bang for my buck than a cold air kit just wondering because i bought my car with a cold air kit and i dont think its doing ****

cervinis says theirs is good for a few extra horsies. but really i dont think cold air and ram air kits do ****. maybe just get a little more air in the tb but i dont think its enough to make a difference.

The most your going to see from a ram air kit or cai is 4-5 hp. Remember the shakers on the old 69 and 70 mustangs with 428's. That ram air was only good for 5 hp so I think on a smaller engine its going to do a lot less than that.

I have the under bumper ram air it is nice, but it picks up all the crap from the road. I have to clean my filter a lot. I didn't install it, it was on the car when I got it, but I think the ram air helps (cooler air charge)
