There has been some rattling on my passenger side and I had the car up this weekend and shook the tire a little and its coming from right inside the rubber sleeve of the rack where I guess the tie rod starts? Its loose right inside there. This would be the inner right? Can I just replace that? It like $15 at autozone.

You only have to replace the inner. I've never done it on a stang but I think all you have to do is drill out a pin or something and it comes out. If the outer isn't bad, why replace it. Definitly take it for an alignment, even if it pulls straight I garentee its way off.
