Why are you pulling the engine to do the rear main instead of pulling the tranny?

because i kinda wanted to do some other mods like heads, maybe a cam (if its worth it) And i thought itd be easier to do sitting down with the engine out of the car rather than layin down to do it. I guess it doesnt really matter tho becuase i will have to take teh tranny down anyway, and if i get new headers i will have to put those on after the engine is in.
So you just reccomend doing everything witht the engine in and not doing a cam?

I dont know. Im just 17 and would love to take my engine apart and really see it. I have never seen a car engine apart and worked on it just lawn mowers. I dont know which one would be eaiser proabaly just droping the tranny. Would you recomend doing a cam too? Also how hard is it to pull the engine? Is all the electrical crap hard to keep track of or is it pretty easy. Thanks

Depends on your mechanical aptitude. Yeah there is a lot to keep track of when pulling a motor. If you do and you're a novas, take pics and mark everything. Put nuts and bolts that go to specific bags and mark them. It would def be easier pulling the tranny.

Horsepower TV made about 275rwhp with the TrickFlow top kit, 65mm TB, cold ait intake, underdrive pullies, and full exhaust.
you could come close to 300rwhp with a good tune and aggressive timing.

stock is about 190rwhp
