Hey everyone, I did the 5.0 with an aod swap into my 89 and went carbed. Im just now getting to work out the bugs. It runs great with the gt40 heads and idles nice and smooth. But when I floor it quickly it sput..sput.. sput sput. Ive checked my vacuum lines and adjusted the carb out and adjusted timing. Still the same. I even swapped the electric fuel pump out with a new one under 6.5lbs pressure. It runs great until you get down on it. It has a factory rebuilt Edelbrock 1406 from Jegs. It pops thru the exhaust also, not the carb. Thanks
