Shift around 3K when acceleratin, but cruise at 3K also... for some reason the car likes 3K....
me too man i can either shift at 2-3k or cruise at 2-3k dosnt really matter

obviously when cruising at 2k the car is in the powerband and going from 2k to WOT is like unleashing the beast into the wilderness.. you can't catch her [8D]

plus my exhaust note is really deep and growly from 2k to 4k

Your powerband is at 2 grand? I think mine starts at above 2500. Shifting at 2k, to me, feels like lugging the engine. Hmm.

Oh yeah...My point: So "normal use" for a sportscar isn't...well...driving it like a sportscar?

Duly noted. I ask because, until recently, I was immersed in the world of vintage sportbikes. The good ones you could ride hard all day for years, get tired of it, and sell it to someone else who rides it hard all day for years. Don't get me wrong, I've seen them break; but it's usually under abuse rather than simple hard use. At any rate, thanks for the reply Tengram.
