I weighed my car at my local dump. I pulled up on the big *** scale and it said 2700. I don't know if the scale was messed up or something. Maybe I saw it wrong? I'll do it tomorrow and let you guys know what it was.

2500 is Miata weight with a driver. I bet with the reduction you've done plus your weight in the car you'll be around 3500. Go to a different scale and check it again.

I need to weigh it, but I believe my 'vert is right around 3000. I'm aiming at 2800 but I don't know if I can do it. 
fiberglass hood, no roof, no insulation, no spare, no jack, aluminum heads... I'm going to take the side windowws and motors as well as remove the A/C and back seat. I've got a Sparco Torino in the driver's side, some cheasy oem blue thing on the passenger's.
