I was wondering how much does your average 1994 mustang GT (non convertable) weigh? I had my car weighed and it came out to 2700 lbs with me in it. I weigh about 200lbs, so the car is around 2500.

some of the weight reduction I have (just off the top of my head) fiberglass hood, corbeau seats, aluminum drive shaft and bell housing, I don't have AC or a smog pump, No catilatic converters. I have a saleen, so whatever saleen does to reduce weight also.

DAMNN! your light as hell. my little 88gt weighed in 3150. thats with alum heads,no a/c, heater,power anything,welds-skinnies,and minus one seat,ect.

Good gawd I gotta lose some weight lmao well the car..... I had mine wieghed in at 4k even...... Damn its a boat, but Im not understanddin where all the weight differences has come from..... All my body work is very light, exhaust does not weigh too much and I took out all my subs and stereo equipment!!!!

I call BS on his 94 GT or Saleen whatever it is weighing in at 2500lbs.


Here is what I found as the weight for a S351 1994. 1551 kg / 3420 lbs.


Unless this is like an all out drag car with Fiberglass doors etc I call BS. **** the V-6 94/95 Mustang still weighs in at around 3077lbs.

ho ***, i thought he had a fox body GT. 94-95 are like 3,400 stock aren't they?

The SN95 mustangs are about 3500. Quiet heavier than the fox bodies. The reason for that is the new sheet metal and body structure of the vehicle. On the other hand the 96 and up are a bit lighter than the 94-95 because of the 4.6 engine which is of course much lighter than than the famous 5.0. that is one thing us SN95 owners need to worry about when we step up to a fox.

I too think he needs to find another set of scales and weigh his Stang again.
I've taken one hell of a lot of weight out of my '88 GT with skinny front tires/wheels, liteweight rear wheels with slicks, removed all stock seats, center console, front sway bar, complete power steering replaced with manual rack, no AC compressor, no air pump, aluminum radiator, electric fan, no windshield wiper, motor or washer reservoir, speakers, radio, cats, mufflers etc. all gone and the damn thing still weighs 2,985 lbs. without me in it.

I weighed my car at my local dump. I pulled up on the big *** scale and it said 2700. I don't know if the scale was messed up or something. Maybe I saw it wrong? I'll do it tomorrow and let you guys know what it was.
