Door Hinges-->OEM??
Ok, in response to my Whoa link, I'm going to try and post oup the pics of my door hinges here...I'll slos include some pics (if i can figure it out) of the HACK job that somebody did prior to me buying the car.
Let me know what you think..
Top Hinge
Bottom Hinge
Driver side door bottom
From the trunk, above the wheel well.
...and the welds that look like my son did them..
I hope these came out...
Thanks guys,
Ivan

RE: Door Hinges-->OEM??
Not sure what exactly what youre asknig about but those are the stock hinges and pins. If youre asking if the door has been replaced theres really no way to tell unless it has the vin tag on the bottom. Another way would be the color of the door behind the panel. Open your doo rnad see if there is a vin sticker on the bottom of the door and see if it matches the ones on the rest of the car.

Door color is consistent with the other side...even has the black painted the same. But I can't find a VIN sticker....on the bottom huh? I'll go look.
The door "pop" when it opens and closes. I think that the hinges are broken or bent pretty bad.
The hinges look OEM to you though?
Thanks for the reply,
Ivan

The sticker is on the bottom. Should be about 1"X2". They are the stock hinges. You might have bad bushings in them though. Open the door and then pick up on the door. If it moves a lot then the bushings are shot. You'll have to get a new pin and bushing.

Easy to repair??
That's exactly what it's doing.
Also, had a hard time finding VIN sticker....it's there!!
Painted over, but the numbers are legible and they match.
How the hell can you wreck the car, waste the front fender and rear quarter, but not replace the door?
What the heck??!!
Thanks for the info,
Ivan

Its called Bondo. Take your panel off and see how bad the doors beat up.
The pins and bushings are easy. I recomend taking the fender off to do it since its a lot easier and you can do them one at a time. Once you get the fender off cut off the pin or drill it out (its very hard metal so cutting its the best way). Once you get it cut remove the hinge on the body (might be benificial to mark the location). Once the body hinge is off knock out the old bushings, insert new ones, line hinge back up, install pin, reattach hinge to bottom. You can get pins from 50 resto or maybe a local store such as Napa.

Does the hinge bolt to the A Pillar or does it weld?? I cannot see either to be honest.
Thanks,

RE: Door Hinges-->OEM??
One hinge is welded to the door the other bolts to the a-pillar. They do that so the door can be aligned. Thats why I say take the fender off to change them since you can mess you door alignment up if you do it the other way.
