v8 swap complete :-)
Hey everyone,
My brother and I have just finished up on the swap from the 4 cylinder to the big 5.0 :-)
It took us around 4 days and everything is running well. I'm just excited about it and wanted to let everyone know.
Right now it is sitting at the muffler shop, right now it only has the BBK headers and high-flow off road mid pipes. They are also going to do the transmission and gear fluid. Thanks for looking and be as excited as I am.

im interested in doing the swap are theyre any guides walkthroughs, anything? that you used? and did the total cost of the conversions car + parts turn out to be less than a factory 5.0?

The car is at Muffler Masters right now. It should be done here in the next hour or so. As soon as I get it back here I will take all of the pictures.

was it efi to carb. i am about to do a swap myself , i am changing 2.3 carb to 5.0efi. only thing i am worried about is the wiring. motor is from 87 5.0 its going in an 85 2.3 frame. please email me with any advice. thanks
