Default Mass Airflow Question

I got a bunch of spare parts when I bought my Fox and I just found some of them today. I was wondering if anybody could tell me if this maf I have is aftermarket or not.

It's shaped differentley than stock and "C&L 73" imprinted on the bottom. It's got a Ford connector on top, but I wasn't sure if that was switched over onto this one.

Anyone have any ideas?

There's some letters on the connector :

"E9ZF-12B579-AAAFH55-03"

Below that is "9A25"

Anybody?

Just wondering if it's aftermarket and maybe a bit bigger or better.

yea its definetly aftermarket, and a pretty good maf too. its made to swap the factory sensor to. and the calibration tube is what you need to worry about. it needs to be the right tube for the injector size youre using.

Yea. That's what I was wondering. Any way to distinguish that?

Do you think the maf is any bigger than stock though? I mean, will I benefit from it if I swap it out (assuming the calibration tube is for 19 lb injectors)?

Awesome. It came with the car.

I have another throttle body too. I wonder if that's any better. I'll swap out the maf tommorow and see if I notice a different.

Anybody have any ideas on how to distinguish the injector calibration for the maf?

And does the 73 on the bottom of it mean 73mm?

^bump

Comeon, anybody know how to determine if it's calibrated for 19 lb or 24 lb or whatever size injectors?

My tube is grey like the rest of the maf, but on their site it says it should be clear for 19 lbs.

you need to unscrew the sensor of the tube and then unscrew the sampling tube and there should be a number written on the side of the tube like ex. .060. go to c&l web site and call customer support and tell them what the number reads and what that calibration is set up for. then you just need to find out what injector size you have. stock is 19 lb.

If you have stock injectors they should be orange.
