Default Performance Alignment

Just wondering; What is the difference between a regular alignment and a performance alignment?

Sorry for the noob question..... Thanks.

Im not sure, but with factory cast/camber plates "MY" car barley comes into alignment. There is an article that Maximum motorsports has that says what kind of cast and camber is best for these cars...a "preformance" alignment.

Here is the article I was talking about. Its on page 4 "Alignment Recommendations" Now this will come in your instructions if you got aftermarket CC plates from Maximum Motorsports. And this article is for 90-93 mustangs, I dont even know if there is a difference for the older ones.

well, it depends on what the car is for... you can adjust the cast/camber to make the car drive differently... on a daily driver, it should be as straight as possible, but on a dirt track car, it needs to be pointed more in one direction.... with a road race car, it might help to lean the tires in toward each other, or out away from each other... get it???
