Default ALT PROBLEM

Hey guys, my stock alternator just isnt cutting it. The guy I got it from put u/d pullies on the car and that made the problem even worse. So I decided to upgrade to 3g ASAP. this guy is selling this alternator on ebay, does it sound good to you?

"Included With This Kit:

- Remanufactured 3G alternator w/ 1-3/4" over drive pulley. This the same alternator as the Ford Racing/Robert Yates developed, Motor Sport part # M-100300-A351. This alternator doesN'T require the alternator bracket be modified (direct bolt in).

- New.. ANL style fuse holder

- New.. ANL 200 AMP fuse

- New.. econo stator connector.

- New...7 feet, cut to proper length of audio grade/oxygen free, fine strand, 4 gauge copper wire w/ the needed 5/16" loop terminals tool crimp mounted, heat shrink covered at connections, and wire loom protection over the length of the power cable.. (Picture #3 shows the power wire, assembled for your convenience)

- New... ring terminals and butt connector

- New.. bolt

- New.. Easy to follow instructions"

and if its good, how much should i pay for it? Thank you

What are they new?, like 300 bucks i think from jegs or somethin. So if this one is refurbished it should probably be somewhere around 200. Just a guess, dont quote me on that one.

well it says its a refurbished small case alt so it wouldn't need the bracket cut, which I would do if i needed to anyway. But the reason I like it is b/c it comes with everything I need to do the whole swap, fuses, everything.

Or you can just take the underdrive pullies off and save yourself a lot of money

Ohhh OK. Well, if those are your plans than the new alternator will be a good upgrade but if not you can get stock pulleys anywhere for very cheap (ebay, junkyards, forums, etc. etc. etc.)
