Default Need Help on NO START Diagnosis

I bought an 89 GT 5.0 AOD which the guy had running before he powerwashed it. Now it will not start. It turns over but will just not start. I attempted to read the codes on the computer by jumping the Sig Return pin to the STI pin and putting a voltmeter from + to the STO pin. When the car is off, the meter reads 12volts. When I turn the car to ON, the volt meter goes to 0 and I hear a few clicks and thats it. It does not sweep and the check engine light does not come on at all. I let it sit for 15 minutes with no flashing CEL or anything on the voltmeter. Is there a main fuse for the ecu I should be looking at? Any tips/hints will be GREATLY appreciated.

it appears that you're doing it right. the clicks and switches mean its running the test. you might try using a test light in place of the meter. i would try running the test with the clutch in. sometimes a faulty clutch switch or gear switch can require this method. good luck, let us know

Did you check for spark? If so then make sure you have fuel.

you say your voltgauge goes to 0.
does your battery have at least 12.3 volts?
if its under it wont start.

also try taking off your battery terminals and cleaning them.
I had a friend with a 87 notch that had it sitting in his garage for 2 months because it wouldnt start.
there was corrosion between the battery posts and terminals.
