Default wat intake should i get

I have an 89 mustang with mild modification, shorty headers, flowmaster exhaust, C&L air inlet, and a K&M filter ( 100 shot of zex not installed yet )

I plan on changin the injectors, and throtle body.

but not im looking for sugestions for the best high performance upper and lower intake i can get. (im looking for speed on the track)

...have they cleaned those up yet?...he probably can get a used trick/cobra/edel/...that will be in better shape for that price...

It depends.... you have to match it up w. your combination. Do you plan on installing heads, cam, etc.? It is a strictly track car? Is it a street/strip car? Do you mind if your operating rpm range is above 1500? etc. etc. etc. please be more detailed.

Agreed, a ported RPM or something would make a little more sense. I really like how the SSi comes as a package though. Just my opinion, but it does look better and from what the magazines have talked about, flows much better than most all of the others since all the runner lengths are equal and share the same internal geometry.

Plus it comes with the HP fuel rails!!!!

Alot of Jack ($) though compared to the rest.

Well the fuel rails are a plus but they are definetly unnecessary. The stock fuel rails are good for 600hp.

what a whooping 10 hp? gasket matching will give you 5 on an old used cobraand the extra 200-300 can go for some used gt-40 heads
