Default dripping sound from exhaust

My car has been running hot lately and it wont hold water. If you let it run till the thermostat opens then put more water in it it runs fine though. I parked it today and it was running a little hot. I heard a sound coming from the headers so i looked under the car and i could hear like a dripping sound. My exhaust pipes were also really hot. Could this be a cracked head?

might have a heater core problem. my 90 was leaking right above the pipes making a pffttt sound every so often. check to see if ur floor is wet on the passanger side.
