331/347/355 Stroker kits.....
Saw this on Ebay...

Do any of you guys know off the top of your head other sites that I might be able to visit and purchase a kit similar to this?? I like alot about the variations that they offer, but from the ramblings here lately, haven't been completely/100% sure about the KB pistons. I would have no issues putting a littel more in and getting some higher quality pistons if there were a kit discount.
Let me know if you guys have any links to other sites and what you might think of these kits.
Thanks for the POSITIVE input fellas,
Ivan

you can always check out coast high performance or dss racing. They sell full rotating assemblies and kit like the one you are looking at on ebay. These two companies are the most used by 5.0 magazines. The prices might shock you, they are reasonable and reputable.

Coolio, I'll check it out....I just thought that I might save some $ if I had a good block to start with.
How do you like your 331?? What kind of MPG/HP do you see?
Thanks,
Ivan

So $2599 for the DSS assy? Not too bad considering it's built and (I'm sure) better than I could do.
$2299 isn't bad for the Coast High setup (comes with Probe Pistons..) either.
I wouldn't even mind the kit for $1199. That isn't bad at all seeing how I can get most of my block work done relatively free from a friends shop.
That's my main reason for looking for a kit you know.
Thanks,
Ivan

be leary of some coast kits the tend to burn oil. If you will ask them, they will tell you the ones that will. I love the 331, but i am still working the bugs out. If a supercharger is in the future 331 is the way to go.

But if I were you, I'd look around LOCAL if you're not building yourself.
I would MUCH rather put an engine in the back of a truck and haul it 30 mins away than ship it and have it take weeks or months.
Mr 91Dsslx, curious as to what exactly the "level 20" is.
And whats the cr on your 331?
Edit: if you're looking at my numbers dont bother comparing.
Just recently I cleaned the filter. Hadn't in quite some time.
Dead serious too, picked up 2mph at the strip, ****ing awesome.
(off the juice)
So I should be up there, and note that my 331 is at 8.5:1
