ORIGINAL: 5.0 MPG

Im starting to like the notches more and more so I know where your coming from.

Good luck.

Oh hell yeah. I'm like that now too. I used to Hate and I mean HATE notches and thought only the Hatchbacks were worth even looking at. But now, I wish I was smarter when I got my car, and gotten a notch. I mean don't get me wrong I love my car and will NEVER get rid of it. But I really wish I had a notch to F*ck around with now. A lot lighter and just as easy to mod. A notch will be my next project.

yes t-tops are bad for torque monsters and they usually will rust out

ever seen the show PINKS? the lil green machine pops the sunroof right out.

thats what happens when u got enough torque to bend the chassis

The thing i like about my notch (although i'm not sure about this as a friend at the local ford dealership told me) is that being an lx with a 302 it got all the goodies that the gt has springs, shocks, and sway arms so it cost less and has most of the Gt goodness.. but as i said that is just something i heard you all know if it is true?

That's true. I just love the look of a Notch with 17" wheels... Of course I will also have the drag lites for the track use, but this time I will get a set of actual slicks. After building my GT I now know the strengths and weaknesses of the car. I know I will more than likely get 3.73's this time around rather than the 4.10's, I will get stronger axle's, tranny upgrade, another spec clutch, electric fans etc.. I cannot wait to find a notch. The GT was a blast to build, I can only imagine what this will be like. Thanks again for all the replies, you guys are awesome.
