85-92 all have forged pistons. The 93HO's have hypereutectic. All 302 blocks are basiaclly the same, the only difference between a HO and non HO, is the HO's have a lifter retainer, theres 2 little holes that hold this thing down. Thats it, other than from the factory most HO's had forged pistons. So no there is no "best" year for the 302 block.

91 and 92 year engines were supposedly the best. They had a strong block, forged pistons (93 had cast)
The 91 and 92 also supposedly had other heavy duty parts.

I have never heard of the 91's and 92's having more "heavy duty" parts. I'm almost positive that the blocks are the same. I guess I could be wrong though

Best bore for this. Me and my roommate are building this for a streetrod, either new edge or fox (probably new edge) with forced induction. We are looking to run about 20 psi.

20 PSI, dude, you got to get either a R302 or a Dart Block there is no way a stock block will handle 20psi, dont even bother to waste your time on DSS level 10 or 20 blocks cause there still stock blocks. You need to get a 4 bolt main.
