Default Removal of window molding and ground fx

Ok, summer is finally here and i am beginning the long process of painting my car. I am finishing removing everything and i cant figure out how to remove the metal molding stuff or whatever it is called around the windshield and rear hatch window. I really dont want to just guess at it and pry it off and break them. I also cant get the ground effects (again i dont know what it is called) off that are attached directly in front of the front wheel and behind the rear wheels and to the bumpers. I got the inner ones under the doors off easily. You can click the car domain link for pics. Thanks!!

need a trim tool its its like a screwdriver handle with a "T" with small hooks on the end napa usually carries them for about 10-15 dollars u slide it under the trim and pull it till it catches the clip and release it

yeah if u bend them up they will never go back on! for the ground effects there are bolts on the fender wells and the bumpers to the ground effectsfront and rear and they slide in on some metal tabs but they just slide off no need to remove them u wont see these till u remove the ground effects!

The windsheild molding is easy to remove. You'll probably destroy the back ones. One thing I suggest doing is looking to see what trim peice for the back is available and start with that peice so you can figure what is needed to get the others out.
