Default Coolant Leak

So I took the stang out tonight for a little evening exercise. On the last run around the block, I noticed the tires were breaking loose in second gear (much more than usual). Much to my avail it happened that there was Coolant aiding in the traction loss. Needless to say it started smoking right about the time I pulled into the garage.

I checked the radiator, hoses and front of the engine and so far other than spray all looks dry.

Ideas? The resevoir is essentially empty and I don't feel like cooking the block, so tomorrow I will be searching for the source.

Any starting point or help is appreciated!

The front of the engine seems to be dry, it looks like the leak is coming from the back.... possibly head gasket leak? (Although, the oil has no water in it.)
