...modifications, how long did it take you to build your cars? I guess I could wait five years to finish building mine, but I'd much prefer to have it done by early next week. Someone school me on patience.

I've been working on mine for about a year, and have roughly 8 grand invested including the price of the car when I bought it($1500). I did all the labor myself including my roll cage. So that is all parts. I saved a butt load of money by doing all the labor myself. I still have about 6 grand untill I have everything i want to do with my stang. Just have paitients dude, I promise it will be worth it in the end.

Thanks man. I think some more good role models, like yourself, will give me the patience to mod my car. Course, it probably will take me a few years though.

in the last 2.5 years ive probably sunk about $20,000 into my car (that includes the price of the car, $4000) on this and that. that includes labor on some mods i had done before i know how to do anything for myself. at this point tho, i dont even know what a mechanics shop looks like cause i never go

I am thinking buy a second stang and mod the hell out of my lx and keep the miles low, have it as a Sunday driver and cruise in a lightly modded 5.0 as a daily driver. Some day!

Well just got the GT, but already added about a $1000 or more worth of stuff into her, but to get my old 98 sixer where she was it took me just a little over a year.

Well, I was working on my 88 for over 2 years and than gave up and baught this 93. I know what you mean about not having patients though, it kills me to know that I have to wait like 10 months before I can save up for a blower!
