i just replaced the tranny and clutch started it ran it for a coulpe of test runs ran fine. two days later thought i would give it a killer tune up replaced coil, plugs, wires, spark plugs,rotor & cap while i was in there i noticed i was missing a header bolt so i drove it to summit racing after the tune up to get some. about 10 miles into the trip and running fine i needed gas saw the quike stop was 2.99 but the filler truck was there and if i see the filler truck there i normally go some where else because he is just stirring stuff up in the underground tanks but i was on empty so i filled 1/4 way up sure enough 5 miles down the road almost to summit the car hesitates at any speed when i hold the throttle steady and i can kinda here it pop lightly when i hold down the throttle when its near 4500 rpm. these are the only two ways i can get it to hesitate and relize when im crusing at any speed holding a steady throttle it might miss once or twice in a mile at a time. wot though i can here it kinda pop. i have heard of cross fireing so i changed the routing of 7&8 and 2&4 so they dont cross each other and no longer run parlae to each other. plugs though god i dont think any one can tell me for sure on this one. book says .044 gap so far from what i gather from the net i can run from .044 to .055 ???huh?? i cheacked my old ones i know they are worn but the car ran fine before so any ways thouse old ones where at .060 ooh and i thought maybe somthing was over heating but does it when its cold also i have drained and replaced gas with chevron gas. any help would be great..
