Default What are some good mods for an 83!!!

Im pretty much stock so I need all the help i can get...... I do have an exhaust but its custom, so i need a new one......
i will be gettin a new carb shortys and an h pipe this week.... but other then that, what else do i need??

dont jsut get gears get a whole new rear end you and me have the 7.5 ford racing makes an 8.8 fully assembled with gears for like 900 bucks, smog delete, edlebrock rpm air gap intake manifold, heads, cam, and i hope your getting a holley carb not an edlebrock

they suck major ***** thats what haha. all they are is a low rated carb that everyone thinks is awesome. edlebrock took over a carb company that made crap carbs, when they took over the remodled the outside to look nice same sh!tty thing inside. get a holley the edlebrock is going to rob you of hp

lol i only know this because when i went to the speed shop to get a new carb i told rick (owner) that i wanted a edlebrock he would let me have one he is a big mustang guy. he explained to me why they suck and why i should never buy one. he set me up with a really nice holley 600cfm vacum secondaries

yeah the last 2 i had i actually lost some power with them, compared to the holley
