Alright , My car is officially pissing me off !! It all started last week when my car kept dying on me. I didnt understand why at first because I had a brand new battery. So I took it back and the guy charged it for me and told me the battery was still good.So I started the car and it ran fine until the next morning, and it was dead again.

I couldent have left the interior lights on because I have a convertible , And I installed a radio delete in my car so I dont have a radio or system, I finally came to the conclusion that it was the alternator so i went to a company calle ASE and had them build me a 140 amp alternator. After I got it back I re-installed it and It did it again.. What the hell is going on ??? Anyways I put a tester to my power wires going to my alternator and I am not getting any power ? So can someone please tell me what could be the problem with my car. Thanks >>>>>>>>>>>&gt ;[:@][:@][:@]

your wires can be fried. you have a tester so start from your battery and work your way up.

Just a guess but did you charge the battery up after you put the alt back in. It can happen.[sm=bangbang.gif] If thats not it check all you wires and terminals.

Maybe your igniter? Do any lights come on on the dash when you turn the key?

Start the car, then un hook the battery. It should stay running if the alt is good.

Does it run and then not start after sitting for a little while? If so, you may have a huge parasitic draw somewhere.

sounds like my car i dunno if you car has this because my car has the volt reg on the fender wall but the s cable going from the reg to the alt was fried and that kept my battery from charging take it to a shop you dont want to mess around with that crap
