Smell>?
So its only done it twice now but it smelled the same. I was kinda showing off for my brother in-law one day and got on it pretty hard and ran it up to about 6000rpms, well that day I took a sharp corner at a good speed and my front tires rubbed. He said he smelled rubber, I thought it was the smell of oil. The other day I did pretty much the same thing but in a straight line, spun the rears through 2nd and got the same smell...Passenger thought it was a rubbery smell but it still smelled like oil.
Am I just paranoid or what could it be. It doesnt have any oil leaks, it only does it when I run the RPMs up to about the engines power limits. Thought I might have blew the PCV out, but it was still in there...any ideas? Anybody?

yeah its always the same, but then again if it ending up burning enough to notice a difference on this stick I should be able to see it in my mirror!

LOL. Mine uses a quart per 1200 miles, and I've never seen smoke come out of the thing.

well, that brings back some memories, I used to have a 65 Dodge Dart with the 225 slant 6. The entire time I owned it I NEVER changed the oil because I'd have to put in a quart every other tank of gas so it always had fresh oil to burn, I just changed the filter every once in a while.......that car was awesome
