No.........I only spent the 1600.00 (huh--only). They are putting a new tranny since I have been in their face since I got it back.

I will sue their *** if its not right.......then BBB or something. I won't go AWAY after getting that screwing!

no i think he means that the guy is putting in the new tranny for him..free im guessing

and that he saw trannies w/ heavy duty clutches, etc for "only" $1900

Thats right........I want to put a bullet in my head after I saw this in several catalogs..........1900.00 for a heavt duty AOD.

200 or so to install so I would have had a badass aod for 2100.00. Now I am stuck with the stocker for 1600.00 I should have just went with the 5 speed changover for that price. Its what I wanted anyway..................

Any ideas on stall converters and shift kits?

Well it sounds like you've got a plathora (SP) of money to spend. Don't go cheap on convertors, get a custom built 3000 rpm Edge converter. Comes out to be like $5??.00 dollars for that and I think that you can pick up a transgo shift kit for about 100 bucks (I'm not sure on this price because I bought mine used for 50 bucks from Quik. If I were you I would've picked out the different parts that I wanted in the transmission, there's a high performance AOD rebuild kit on ebay for around $300.00 (high strength bands blah blah blah). I would also have them install an aftermarket (A rated) billet servo, I would suggest that you purchase this so you know what's going into it.
