n2o help...
I'm really thinking about buying a zex nitrous dry shot kit... it's capable of 75-125 boost and was wondering what I need to replace so my engine can tolerate it... i.e injectors, fuel pump?

RE: n2o help...
i was told its no2....also if your car isnt having any problems right now and you do a 75 shot touldant be a big deal or hurt anything , if you do have any issues nitrous will multiply it. maybe a new fuel pump so you dont go lean and maybe a new Tb but i doubt that one

theres tons of threads aobut this. I'd go one step colder plug and some sort of coil and ignition box, maybe one that you could adjust the timing with. If no ignition box, I'd definately close the gap down on the plugs a lot

RE: n2o help...
put a min of a 190 lph pump, fuel pressure gauge, a low fuel pressure cut off switch,1 step colder plug and timing at 9-10 degrees....I would look at a kit like nx thats adjustable from like 35-150 this way later you could 2 step the nitious for a faster more constant times

RE: n2o help...
stock engine will hanldle a 125 shot ok, with the timing backed off to prevent detonation.
if you go with 125 "dry" shot you will want to upgrade to at least 24lb injectors if not 30's
and 190lph pump.
dont forget you will need to upgrade the MAF with the injectors to keep the computer happy.

Im runnin 100 shot wet on an all stock motor. U can run the stock plugs just gap them .035-.040. No probs motor runs good. Just treat the N20 with respect and use it correctly and ur car will run forever on a 100-125 shot. becareful on 125 tho. Check that everything is runnin good on a 100 shot b4 goin up.
