That motor is near maxed out with those heads, I had the same setup 12 or so years ago. The head is the problem, nothing else

the cam is fine it works well, much better then an e-cam or something along those lines.
as far as what i want to acomplish, just trying to make the car as quick as i can. isnt that the reasonwe build carS?

i will be stepping up to different heads later on yes, i just wanted my car out by summer, and not by fall so i skimped and spent a little less money.
so the combo is alright for what it is? seemed like you guys were shooting it down at first thats all.
back to the question though stick with pedistal or just put stud mounts on it?

for real....no cam iisn't to small...on a street car smaller is better but more lift on the exhaust might help with thise heads
