Slight tick in the motor..what could it be?

Slight tick in the motor..what could it be?

the '92 GT I'm picking up later in the week has a slight tick in the motor...what could cause this? The motor runs great so I assume it's nothing serious. Motor has plenty of oil.

Any ideas? Could it be lifter tick? When you put a screw driver on the water pump and listen you can hear it.

Could be a valve, lifter, or even a noisey injectors. Might be an exhaust leak that the header or a water pump going bad. Theres to many things it could be.

Didn't look to be honest - my uncle did all of that 'checking out'. I just did the 'general' checking out. I remember him taking the plug off of the motor - so I'd assume it's fine.
