my heater wont stay off
even in the off position heat comes out of the defroster vents
i thought my tranny was overheating but its the stupid heat stayiing on all the time.
whats up with this? it dosnt do it all the time usually only when the car gets warm.

MY 85 Mustang does this too. my comes out of the front vents and the defrost. I think it has to do with some vacumm lines under the dash by the glove department or behind the controls. I just made sure it was off and moved the temp. control to cold and it stop coming out of vents.
