this is wierd
ok..i changed my roller rockers..i put the stock rocker arms back on...i had a bad vibration in the motor befor i did this. i changed the balancer and it still had a vibration, but not as bad. i just fired up the car with the stock rockers and it runs alot better..more crisp when i hit the gas, vibration gone and the sound is incredible, have the flowmaster american thunder with 2.5 all the way out with bbk long tube headers, no cats. im stumped, but im happy now. and also the roller rockers i cant move by hand, they are grooved on the bottom..is this normal? i had the pro comp 1.6 pedistil mount. should they of been shimmed?...or do they all do that?

RE: this is wierd
sounds like they wore out, maybe you got a bad batch or you have them way over tight, but I don't think you could have them that tight. At least you got it figured out. How old were they?

RE: this is wierd
Ive heard of rockers making a grove/set in the valve that will cause noise if they are chagned. Probably if you replaced your rockers and fixed the valves you wouldnt have the noise/vibration.
