explorer manifold vs stock manifold

RE: explorer manifold vs stock manifold
Do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I run one and it works great. The exact same thing flow wise as the GT40 Tubular, it just looks uglier. I picked mine up at my local junkyard for a $100.00
You can expect an easy 20-25 RWHP gain with the explorer intake, 70mm TB/ EGR Plate and bigger MAF Meter.
If it is a 97 back I think you need to run an EGR spacer. If its 97+ it has a built in EGR passage. Also there is alot of holes to plug. All you need is a vaccum for your fuel relulator and a source for the vaccum tree on the firewall next to the brake booster. Plug everything else.

yeah 2.3 60ft's trapping 93.33 shifting at 5k
I think I will do the intake swap... I need to get a bit more power out of her this summer yet..
I will be eliminating the egr valve, and continuing with the speed density so I will use my stock egr spacer for the time being, and then just getting the bare explorer manifold and plenum

If the stock is 55mm then I would def think that the Expo intake with TB is a nice upgrade..
